1. Delete everything on your device
Uninstalling Simple Shred removes the app's storage, which contains all of it:
- your protocol settings and plan;
- your daily checklist history, weigh-ins and check-ins;
- the meal photos, step-count screenshots and progress photos you attached.
iPhone / iPad: press and hold the app icon → Remove App →
Delete App.
Android: press and hold the app icon → App info → Uninstall (or
Storage → Clear storage if you want to wipe the data but keep the app).
This cannot be undone and we cannot recover it for you, because we never had a copy. Photos you also saved to your own camera roll stay there — delete them in your photo app if you want them gone.
2. Your subscription record
If you subscribe, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google and recorded by our subscription provider, RevenueCat. That record holds an anonymous customer id generated on your device plus purchase events — no name, no email address, no health data, no photos.

Deleting this record does not cancel a running subscription. Cancel first in your store account — see support.
3. Request erasure
To have your subscription record deleted, email info@mxdevelopment.nl with the subject "Delete my Simple Shred data". Include the store you bought from (App Store or Google Play) and the approximate purchase date so we can identify the right record; if you have your app user id from the app, add it.
We confirm and complete deletion requests within 30 days, as required under the GDPR. Some purchase and tax records may be retained by Apple, Google or ourselves where the law requires it — those are legal obligations we cannot delete around.
